First we were yelling, and now we’re kissing. Oh, what the hell. I wanted to kiss him so bad even if I don't know what happened at my house. The kiss was like, wow. His arms tightened around me.
I wrapped my arms around his neck. His lips left mine and went down to my neck. Oh, no, he might see the marks. He pulled away so fast that I hit the wall gently. “Sorry, I just....I just can't do this.” he said.
That hurts. First he kisses me and now he regrets it. “It’s okay. I wanted to kiss you and I wanted you to kiss me.” I said. We stared at each other. He walked slowly towards me he put his right hand on my left cheek.
“I want to kiss you so bad, but I can't. I'm sorry.” he said as he slowly let go of my cheek. “Then you should take me home now,” I said trying to fight the tears. This has been some night, I thought. “No kidding,” said a voice in my head. Erick grabbed his keys.
“Come on, let's get you home.” he said. He looked pale, like if he was going to die or something. We got in his car. It was torture, just being quiet for so long. I stared out the window.
Questions were going back and forth in my mind. “Are you okay?” I asked in a whisper as I looked over at him. “What are you talking about?” he asked as he kept his eyes on the road. “You’re paler than usual, so I was wondering if you were okay.” I said. We pulled over.
I looked out the window and realized I was home. “Yeah, I'm fine,” he said. “Good night,” he said. “Thanks for taking me home. Good night,” I said as I got out of the car. I realized I was in my pajamas with my spaghetti strap shirt.
It was cold so I wrapped my arms around myself. An engine roared and took off. A moment later I could have sworn he had never been there. I went inside my house and went up the stairs into my room. I closed my door and lay on my bed, as I stared up at the ceiling for a while.
Then I drifted to sleep. Then the dreams began....

I was breathless when he kissed me. His beautiful dark hair gently brushed against my cheeks. I didn't want this to end. His pale skin was warm against mine. His lips trailed down to my neck.
He gently placed tiny little kisses then he stopped. He pulled away just a bit and moved my hair a little for a better view. I forgot about the bite marks. He looked at me speechless as let go of my hair he disappeared. The scene changed and I was in my room.
The words “I'm sorry!” repeated in my mind. I remember the pain I had felt and realized it was happening all over again.

I woke up, gasping for air. I ran my hand through my hair. I saw a gleam or sparkle in the corner of my room near my window. I sat up. “Chill, Meg” I repeated over and over in my head.
It was just a dream, just a dream, but all of that was true. I leaned back against the bed's head rest. I closed my eyes. The images came back and I opened my eyes. That's when I thought something moved.
Oh no, I thought, not again… “Where are you? I know you’re in here!” I said, but no reply came. I grabbed my covers and threw them on the other side of my bed. I got up, and walked towards the window. Strange, I thought I had locked it.
That's when I heard movement from behind me. I quickly turned around and listened carefully. Gotcha! I turned around and walked towards my closet. I stared at it and I looked around to see if I can find something of use.
My flashlight! I grabbed it quickly. I turned it on and checked my room before I went into the closet. Nothing, good. I heard breathing.
I opened the closet. I was scared at what might pop out but instead it was my black cat. “Iris, you scared me.” I said as I picked my cat up. I walked towards my bed. “You should be ashamed of yourself, you naughty kitty.” I said and I went back to bed. I held Iris while I was sleeping, hoping she might protect me from life’s horrors.
