Upset About Lena and Ethan's Casting?

I am really mad about the people they chose for Lena and Ethan. First off both are TOO OLD. They look like they are in their thirties not their teens. Second, Lena's hair is too light. The actors hair is brown but Lena's hair is black and curlier. Third, Ethan is too short! In the book he states that he is 6'2 but in the movie, he is just a couple inches taller than Lena.

What do you think about the choices in the actors for Lena and Ethan?

I like the casting of BC.

First, I was a little sad because I don't image Ethan as Jake O'Connell but now, I'm happy because I really Like Alden. You know, I saw him in Tetro and he was really good.

For Alice, well , I think she will be great. I love her voice, her style and, I think she will be a perfect Lena.

I'm extremely upset about the casting. I would have the casting director fired. Lena is suppose to be incredibly beautiful, Alice she's pretty but she looks plain and ordinary. Ethan is too short even though he is alot better than Jack o'connell, he's still not what i imagine for an Ethan.

I think Alice Englert has a beautiful voice too, but she doesn't fit my image of Lena. She was supposed to be cute, shy, with black and curly hair...

And this guy Alden Ehrenreich is toooooo old to be Ethan! Come on, both Lena and Ethan are 16!! What the hell were they thinking? This picture makes me feel so upset! They don't even look like a super in love couple..!

But in my opinion, the rest of the cast is PERFECT. Rachel Brosnahan is exactly how I imagined Genevieve! Jeremy Irons (Macon) and Emmy Rossum (Ridley) are both perfect for their characters, too. I don't know if Viola Davis is really going to play Amma, but she's amazing.
