The Loving Relationship of Sarafine and John

The relationship of Sarafine and John was relatively short.  Sarafine had been 15 when she and John started dating. Though it took Sarafine a couple months to tell John she was a Caster. When she finally did she was coming up on her 16th moon ( 16th birthday)Which is when a Caster either becomes light or dark. John was okay with Sarafine being a caster. Everything was fine in their relationship until Sarafine turned 16.On the night of her 16th moon Sarafine became a cataclyst . A cataclyst  is a Caster gone dark. Her mom completely disowned her, so she went to John's. She knocked on his bedroom window, and he was like" sarafine?"  From then on Sarafine stayed with John. Sarafine and John moved into their own house when they discovered they were having a child. By this time Sarafine was hearing voices in her head, as all dark casters do. A year later Lena was born. Then, one day Sarafine was walking home after dark, and Abraham showed up. Abraham is a blood incubus. He said he could help Sarafine and Lena. He was also the one who told Sarafine that Lena would be able to chose weather she became a light or dark caster. See the thing is there is a curse. The curse is  " The first will go dark, but the second may chose."  So Sarafine was seeing Abraham, not in a relationship though. Then one night when Lena was 2, John and Sarafine had a bad bad fight.  That night Sarafine came home from seeing Abraham in the tunnels. When she got home John asked where she was. Sarafine was too tired of lying to him so she said she was in the tunnels seeing a relative. Of course John freaked, and asked which relative. Sarafine said " Abraham"  John was like the blood incubus. And so they just started fighting. It was just a normal fight until John said and I quote "  I don't want you to see Abraham anymore. If you do i'll ;eave and take Lena with me. This of course pissed off Sarafine and made her start a big fire, which she could do because she's the most powerful dark caster ever. To sum this all up: John pissed Sarafine off, she started a fire around John, looked himin the eyes and said " I'll love you until the day after forever". This was what John used to say to her. She then turned around and left the house burning in flames. by morning time the whole house was burned down and John was dead, though Lena survived.

If they had Facebook in the book , the night when John died, he could have just put: I HAVE A DEATH WISH : TONIGHT I'M GOING TO GO HOME AND TELL MY WIFE WHO IS THE MOST POWERFUL DARK CASTER EVER THAT IF SHE KEEPS UP SEEING A FRIEND OF HER'S THAT I WILL LEAVE AND TAKE OUR DAUGHTER LENA WITH ME,TO PROTECT HER FROM YOU.
I mean did he realy think Sarafine would just take that lightly. There's no better way to piss your wife off , than telling her that she's a threat to her own daughter, and threatening to leave with the daughter. If you think about it, it really was his death wish.
