I get the actors may not be exactly as we all pictured but it really shouldn't make everyone freak out so terribly over it. Everyone has their own personal views of how they think someone in a book should look and this is a filmmaker's take on it. If you don't like the actors or feel the need to thrash it before you even get the chance to see it, just leave it alone. There's no point in continuing so much hate if you're not changing the movie. Just read the books and make your own film in your mind of how you want the actors, the backdrops, the lighting, the shots, slow motion and whatever else to be. I, personally, want to see how everything turns out and can not wait to see this book on the big screen. It's an amazing series and there's no reason to let the movie put a damper on what these women have made come to life through their words and their thoughts.

Permalink Reply by Anika wasse on July 29, 2012 at 7:55pm This is true we don't have to change the actor just because he or she happens not to look like the person the book describes. Take Lena for example, contacts, hair dye and a curling iron and everyones happy! p.s. seriously about the contacts its a big part of the book :)

Bri, I defiantly agree.
And Anika, look at those quick and easy fixes for this. And even if she doesn't want to dye her hair, there's this magical invention called a wig :O Hahaha.

The actors may not look the characters in the book but its still beautiful creatures so im going to try to support it. There's got to be reason why they were hired anyway. I still think the casting director can do so much better.
