Let's talk: Movie Haters
CALLING ALL BEAUTIFUL CREATURES MOVIE HATERS!!
Okay... so let me get this straight:
You are writing nasty comments about a picture from the filming.
You are complaining about all the PHYSICAL attributes of an actor.
You are telling everyone that the movie is stupid and that the book will never be the same with you knowing that there is a movie based on the book.
Let's discuss the first one...
Ummm... what ever happened to just plain old staying away from the things you don't like? You can like the book, but you don't have to make other people feel bad about wanting to see the movie. If you don't want to see the movie, THEN DON'T GO SEE IT!!
The second one is particularly annoying to me:
If you read my comment on the picture, you'll know where this one is coming from... Does the physical appearance of the actor's have anything to do with the plot? In some cases it's important, like Edward's eyes. When Bella Swan spent half the time describing that his eyes were gold. But, in this book... Ethan doesn't go on and on about anything really, other then Lena's eyes. (but I'm sure they'll make sure her eyes are green.) Plus, the movie directors don't have time to scroll through comments to make sure everyone is satisfied. They don't say, "Wait a minute, guys! This girl thinks Ethan looks to old... should we change that?"
The third one isn't really that bad:
But... why are you so determined to make everyone hate the movie? And, I don't know about you guys but... for me? The movie will always be the movie, the books will always be the books. The text from the book won't magically change just because a movie is made. You might feel that the movie has changed the way you look at the book, but the book is never the same... if you read it when your mad, you might root for the bad guys. If you it read and your sad, you might cry for no reason.
Okay... some people might want to comment on this discussion and tell them that they hate me, so I will leave them to it!

The people who complain about the physical appearances of characters get me SO MAD. I seriously want to punch each of them. In the face. With a sledgehammer. Very hardly. Okay people, I just notified our beautiful Queen of Fangirls, CassJayTuck, about all the movie hate. I sent her a message on her tumblr, and I'm waiting to see if it passes moderation. Then we'll have to wait and see if she responds. I really hope she does. So, in case you're interested, I told her about this website and how it's pretty much BC Movie Hate Headquarters, and I asked her for some advice. But, until she responds, just keep standing up to the movie haters! :D

okay maybe some of us do complain about physical apperances but can you blame us? I mean its not called being an obsessive beautiful creatures freak ( which i found was really offensive) its called loving the book and thought the characters description was perfect that they shouldn't change it. The Ethan im ok with it now it doesn't really bother anymore but the Lena doesn't look like a Lena and the reason why so may fans got upset is because we saw Alice Englert with red hair and brown eyes. I now understand why these actors were hired we're not stupid, im not. You guys are excited to see the movie, thats good we all have our opinion about the movie.

Seriously, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. This sight was created to allow fans to voice those opinions. They love the books and they are disappointed about how the characters look and they are afraid its gonna make the move suck. Well all i have to say to those people who are complaining about people voicing their opinions..SHUT THE HELL UP!! Don't we have freedom of speech anymore. Yeah it can be annoying when people are dumping on something your looking forward to but stop bitching about what they're saying. That's how they feel, leave them alone. They've been waiting for the move for years and they just feel like the choice of actors could have been better. And for those who come on the sight and bitch and moan about the characters every five seconds....get a life. We heard you the first time so just give it a rest already...no need to ruin everyone's excitement. Have an open mind, the movie might surprise you and be super awesome.

ok first off she isnt upset that yall are voicing your opionions she is upset because of the constant hating on the movie yes u can have your opinion but you dont need to constantly complain on the physical attributes the world isnt gonna end if alice doesnt have black hair and green eyes yes the appereances are really good not to change (trust me i know) but instead of worrying on physical stuff be happy that they are actually making it into a MOVIE lena D out

evryone is making valid points and thanks soooooooooo much to everyone who is sticking up for all the people who want to see the movie!!!!! but seriously haters if you dont want to see the movie dont go see it dont try to get evryone to hate it too. let them have their own opinions if they want to see it who cares if they dont who cares. Something such as appearance should not be the reason you dont go see the movie if you really like the book go see it then judge it dont go around hating it and hating everyone who likes it. You would be suprised by wht costumes and make up can do. the directors dont go pick people for their looks alone they pick them for their looks and acting skills
but i know i cant wait to see the movie

im not a movie hater just a movie cast disagree-er that's totally different. Heck ya im seeing the movie, no matter who's playing Lena or Ethan, im curious of how it'll turns out. I saw a pics of Alice Englert on set and i saw her with black hair, so I'm confused whether she is going to have black hair or not.

You are awesome and soo right its not like theres is a clone of all the characters that also happen to be actors I mean like for Ridley not many people look like heryou know yellow eyes blond choppy hair with a pink streak in it also in other movies like Harry Potter he is supposed to have green eyes and he has blue eyes in the movies not all movies are perfect and thanks for sticking it to them sorry for rambiling

contacts can work. They made vampires have red eyes in the freaking vampire movies. Why not Beautiful Creatures. Eye color is really important thoughout the series, you know, with the visions, the songs, the end of the book. They can't change everything, if they do that'll be bull.
